We had a set menu which was okay - this is a place you go for the music, not the food. It also means every time the door opens we were treated to more of the freezing temperatures outside that NYC experienced in late December 2017! It was worth though so try to get a table there if you want to actually listen to the music. We had a seat by the door which means you are closest to the musicians and thus get the best listening experience. Everyone received a complimentary glass of 'bubbles' just before midnight, we counted down the new year, clinked our glasses and them more delightful jazz. There seemed a real community of musicians there who all knew and respected each other. We were treated to a delightful array of music from a number of different musicians, mostly jazz but also some delightful Spanish folk-style music as.
